AVIES Conditions of Carriage apply only on those flights, where our name or Airline Designator Code is indicated in the carrier box of the Ticket for that flight.
These conditions do not apply to Carriage by air if such Carriage is part of a travel arrangement as defined in Council Directive (90/314/EEC) of 13 June 1990 on package travel, package holidays and package tours.
These Conditions of Carriage are applicable unless they are inconsistent with our Tariffs or applicable law that cannot be waived by agreement of the parties in which event such Tariffs or laws shall prevail.
If any provision of these Conditions of Carriage is invalid under any applicable law, the other provisions shall nevertheless remain valid.
Except as provided in these Conditions of Carriage, in the event of inconsistency between these Conditions of Carriage and any other Regulations we may have dealing with particular subjects, these Conditions of Carriage shall prevail.
The Ticket constitutes conclusive evidence of the Contract of Carriage between us and the Passenger named in the Ticket. We will provide Carriage only to the Passenger named in the Ticket, and you may be required to produce appropriate identification.
Some Tickets are sold at discounted fares, which may be partially or completely non-refundable. You should choose the fare best suited to your needs. You may also wish to ensure that you have appropriate insurance to cover instances where you have to cancel your Ticket.
The passenger is responsible for providing a correct email address and telephone number to enable AVIES, when necessary, to contact the passenger prior to travel. In the event of air traffic disruption or other circumstances that affect the journey’s completion, information will be provided by e-mail or telephone. Policies and routines may change without notice. In the event of flights being cancelled or delayed, customers will be reached by the phone and compensated and treated according to AVIES standard procedures. In the event of timetable changes, a message will be sent to the e-mail address provided upon booking. On those occasions on which AVIES sends e-mails to customers, AVIES is not responsible for the arrival of the e-mail in the customer’s inbox. On those occasions on which AVIES gives a call to the customer, AVIES is not responsible, if the provided phone number does not answer or is incorrect.
AVIES is a ticketless airline. It is sufficient to show a valid passport or ID-card and give your booking code, which is found on your booking confirmation. Children under 18 travelling with an adult who can produce one of the forms of photo-ID listed above do not need to show photo-ID. If a valid photo-ID, with a name corresponding to that given in the reservation, cannot be produced, the passenger will not be allowed to check in. Refunds will not be made in such cases.
If you arrive at check-in after it has closed, your ticket will be regarded as spent. Tickets that have not been cancelled will not be refunded. It is the passenger’s responsibility to get to the airport in time to be checked-in.
Children under 2 years pay 10% from the respective fares, providing that they sit in an adult’s lap (one baby per adult). Child car seats are not allowed onboard and babies have reduced checked luggage limitations.
The maximum baggage allowance is 15 kg per person for checked baggage and 5 kg per person for hand baggage. AVIES accepts no responsibility for unsuitably packed, delicate, damaged or fragile baggage. AVIES accepts no responsibility for external damage to baggage arising from normal wear and tear (e.g. scratches, stains, dirt or dents), or for water damage to non-watertight baggage. AVIES does not accept responsibility for valuables (e.g. keys, computers, jewellery or cash) contained in check-in baggage.
The airline undertakes to do its best to transport passengers and their baggage within a reasonable period of time. Times given on tickets, timetables or elsewhere are not guaranteed and are not covered by this agreement.
AVIES is a „point-to-point“ airline. We therefore do not offer, and cannot facilitate, the transfer of passengers or their baggage to other flights, whether operated by ourselves or by other carriers.
